Private Sessions
Helping you fulfill your potential and lead a happier, more enriching life in integrity with your values. Compassionate Body Dialogue practices increase emotional capacity and resilience so you can be more effective in your work, confident in relationships, and connected in your life. We’ll work together with a body-based approach of compassionate awareness and mindfulness practices to increase your inherent capacity for emotional regulation, process and relieve symptoms, nurture self-compassion, and learn self-regulation skills. Special consultations available for mental health providers and body workers who want to be more effective in their work without exhaustion or burnout.
What does a session look like? I meet with clients in person, by phone, or Zoom. Sometimes we sit in conversation, and I may guide you into a deeper conversation with your own internal experience. I help you access your body’s wisdom through sensation awareness, touch support, visualization, and gentle movement. Depending on your needs and issues, your healing path may include regulating your nervous system with Somatic Experiencing, QiGong energy work or touch support, deepening your spiritual practice, using your own creativity (writing, photography, drawing or movement) to process issues, and integrating the work through conversation. While I offer informed suggestions, it’s always your choice to engage only the modalities that resonate with you.
